We recently carried out an asbestos survey and removal project at Longleat House in Warminster.
We carried out a Refurbishment & Demolition Asbestos Survey to various parts of Longleat House prior to them having a new electrical system installed.
On our asbestos survey we found some asbestos in the basement area, we were then asked by the client to carry out the safe removal of the asbestos that we found.
We removed the asbestos in the basement area, this then allowed the electrical company to install their new system without any danger to their staff.
Without this survey being done the electrician would have been exposed to asbestos fibers. This is why it is key that an asbestos survey is carried out before any refurbishment works are carried out in any building built before the year 2000.
