This time last year we started a sizable job on behalf of Crediton Dairy in Devon.
This project was split into phases due to the dairy still being in use and live. The total amount of asbestos cement roof sheets that had to be removed measured 2000 square metres.
We required access equipment to allow us to complete the safe removal of asbestos cement roof sheets. Our six man team also had to stay away from home for the entirety of the project due to it being in Crediton, Devon.
In addition to the asbestos sheet removal, we also had to demolish part of the wall to allow us access for the cherry picker as the roof had two layers of asbestos cement roof sheets.
Due to the terrible weather we had this time last year this project was quite the challenge!
